Poem: Our Delight.
the sand underneath my feet,
pollen sipping into my nostrils
the bird flying above me
light post displaying what lies before me
I am on my way to you.
water glistering down your back
shampoo caressing exhausted layers of your hair
both hands in circular motion
you wash away the troubles of the day
as you prepare for me.
wine glasses, dinnerware,
shoe boxes, inner wear
laughter, and silent stares
as finger ignites inner lusts
dim light, soothing tune,
legs intertwine, I look to you,
kiss my shoulder, inch in close,
sweet nothings and tender moan
your heart beats in sync with my hand
Breaths grow heavy,
our bodies willing, now ready
like an inside joke, you look to me
we burst out laughing uncontrollably,
at the expense of our aching muscles yearning to unite.
